So as I'm settling into my second trimester I am definitely feeling better. My nausea has subsided and I'm not as tired as I was. I am however in desperate need of a vaca, so thank god we are heading to The Keys in a week! We will be gone for about 10 days so I am just so excited I can't even stand it. Not only do we have a long vacation mid-month, but the day after we return, we have our big anatomy scan appointment where we are going to find out baby's sex!!! I am SO SO excited for this. I am literally obsessing over if this baby is a boy or a girl. Last night I had a dream it was a girl, but the night before I had a dream it was a boy. I don't care what we have, I just want to know! I feel like it will help make this seem a little more real because we will be able to assign a gender to that tiny human growing inside of me and then we can start talking about names and decorating the nursery, oh and shopping!!! So I just cannot wait :)
As I'm in my 14th week, I finally feel like I have a legitimate bump. Not just one caused by bloating but by the baby :)
I also saw this idea on several pregnancy/baby blogs that I thought was a cute way to keep track of the stupid things that change so quickly during pregnancy, so I thought I'd give it a try!
How far along are you? 14 Weeks
Maternity clothes? I bought some from Old Navy/Gap Maternity and I love the leggings because they have the full panel support which kind of smoothes things over a bit.
Stretch Marks: Not yet...I should really start using something though
Sleep: So So...it really depends on the night. If I could stop the terrible urge to pee at 3 a.m. I think I would be a lot better off!
What do you miss? Every weekend I am struggling more and more with not being able to sip on a yummy 7&7 or a delicious strawberry margarita.
Best Moment this Week: There was a night or two in there where I didn't have to pee in the middle of the night!
Movement: I'm not really sure because I keep reading it's too early to feel anything but I swear yesterday morning I was laying in bed, trying to fall back asleep, and there was this little tiny thump right below my belly button. It was definitely not gas! But I'm not sure if it's possible for it to be the baby?
Cravings: I made the mistake of having a Baja Blast from TBell last week, so ever since I'm like obsessed with the thought of sipping on that deliciously terrible concoction. But I know I shouldn't...so I've only got one more...so it's probably fine.
Anything making you nauseous? Frozen pizza. Ick. I have had a major pizza aversion since I got pregnant which is weird because I love pizza. Every now and then a nice greasy Dominos/Pizza Hut pizza hits the spot, but other than that...gag!
Started to show yet? Pretty sure I've been showing since the day I got pregnant
Gender Prediction: For some reason I think it's a girl, but I have no idea why. Probably because of the old wive's tail that girls steal your beauty. Because I am ugly as f right now! My lips are always chapped, I have bacne!!! And my skin is just dry and itchy.
Belly Button In or Out? Definitely in...I don't know if that thing will ever come out
Wedding rings On or Off? Well at the moment they are on, but they have been off a lot. For some reason my band seems tight so I'm not havin it.
Mood? Mostly happy but I definitely have some random mood swings of straight up crank.
Looking forward to: Our vacation!
