So after I continuously stared at my 6 week picture I couldn't help but slightly panic as I wondered why my bump was so big! I decided just to put a call in to my doctor's office to see if I was crazy, or just further along than I thought. My doctor asked me to come in that afternoon for a quick ultrasound to see how far along I actually was. Sure enough, I was only about 6.5 weeks! She told me that every one is different and it could just be my body type as well as a nice little side of bloating.

After I left, I definitely felt relieved because I was starting to worry that I was actually further along than I thought by about a month. And with the holidays and what not, that extra month involved a lot of drinking and poor eating! So I happily accepted that I was 6.5 weeks and carried on, bump and all!
